Badaling great wall and summer palace coach tour

Day 1 beijing Lunch

① Pick up at your hotel between 7:20am and 8:30am, and then driving one hour to get to Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is situated at the very top of the mountain to the north of Guangou Valley. There is a narrow path leading to the top of the two precipitous mountains. the Badaling Great wall is built in between two mountains and was constructed to be a communications center. North of Badaling, you can travel to Kangzhuang, Huailai, datong and Zhangjiakou; to the east, you can reach Yongning, Sihai and Miyun; to the south you can go to Beijing city proper via Changping, Since the traffic is nice, so it is called Badaling (Eight Prominent Peaks). Cable car is available and it is optional.

② Before having lunch, you will have 45 minutes to have a short visit to the Friend Yongsheng Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.

③ Have traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant. After lunch, driving about 1.5 hours and get to the Summer Palace. the Summer palace is a wonderful place to explore, as long ago as the Yuan dynasty, officials set up their private gardens in the scenic area, but the summer palace didn’t take on its present appearance until the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty. He deepened the park’s manmade lake and added building to serve as a ‘country home’ for his mother, though it would be the Empress Dowager Cixi who would have the biggest impact on the palace’s appearance.

④ After the visit of Summer Palace, have a short visit to a pearl free market. Then transferred back to your hotels
