Day 1 Beijing-Lhasa
Itinerary:
Arrive at Lhasa Gonggar airport which at a
elevation of 3000 meters,been pick up by Tibet guide then drive to Lhasa urban,
en route visit Brahmaputra valley, Buddha Sculpture made 11th century and
Tibetan village etc. on the drive to Lhasa and check in the Hotel,Free and have
rest in this afternoon.
Day 2 Lhasa city tour Breakfast,Lunch.

Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Square. Lhasa for the
night.
Potala Palace
Introduction:
It can be
said that the Potala Palace is the symbol of Lhasa, the regional capital of
Tibet. Situated on Red Hill in northwest of the city, the Potala Palace was
originally built as the house for the marriage of Emperor Songtsen Gampo and
Princess Wenchang in the Tang Dynasty. The palace was destroyed twice in its
history. In 1645, it was rebuilt and expanded by Dalai Lama V. The project took
about half a century to complete. It is a sacred place for Tibetan Buddhism, the
hall and corridors inside are decorated with master paintings, which are
concerning Buddhist teachings and stories. The Red Palace displays the artistic
statues of Songtsen Gampo and Princess Wenchang, as well as 1000 Buddhist
images. In 1994, the Potala Palace has been listed by UNESCO as the World
Cultural Heritage. Nowadays, the palace attracts Buddhist worshippers at home
and abroad to visit during religious festivals.
Barkhor
Introduction:
The Barkhor
is probably the best part about Lhasa and one of the most interesting places to
see in Tibet. The Barkhor is a pilgrimage kora around Tibet's most holy temple,
the Jokhang. The main circuit of the Barkhor is about 1km long, but there are many small alleys that come off
of the main route. Everyday sees thousands of Tibetan pilgrims walking around
the Barkhor in a clockwise direction
Jokhang Temple
Introduction:
Situated in the center of
the old city of Lhasa, Jokhang Temple is the first Buddhist temple in Tibet. It
is also the Sacred Temple of all Tibetan Buddhists. Jokhang Temple is not
subordinate to any Buddhist sects, and is always the place in Tibet where major
Buddhist ceremonies are held. Jokhang Temple is the
spiritual center and holiest
site in Tibetan Buddhism, attracting thousands of prostrate
pilgrims each year.
Day 3 Lhasa - Yangpachen

Itinerary:
In the
morning, drive to Yangpachen - the hot spring, is situated in the basin at the
foot of Nyainqentanglha Mountains to the northwest of Lhasa. enjoy the hot
spring,then drive to Namtso, is the second largest saltwater lake in China. The
lake is beautiful with its azure water, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.the
night fair of Lhasa Barkhor Street, or taste the local food.
Yangpachen
Introduction:
Yangbajing is a Tibetan town
approximately 87 kilometers (54 miles) north-west of Lhasa, halfway to Damxung
in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. The town lies in an upland lush green
valley surrounded by the tents of Nomads with grazing yak and sheep populating
the hillside. The area is famous for the Yangbajing hot springs, which have been
harnessed to produce much of the electricity for the capital Lhasa. There is a
thermoelectric power plant on the edge of the Yangbajing hot springs field
covering 16 sq/kilometer (6 sq/miles). The thermoelectric power plant was
established in 1976, and the first development of geothermal power not only in
Tibet but in the whole of China.
Nam
Lake Introduction:
Nam
Co is the highest lake in the world and is 4,718 meters above sea level. It is
72 kilomters long from east to west and 30 kilometers wide from south to north.
It has an area of 1,940 square kilometers. Some 60 kilometers to the northwest
of Damxung County seat, it is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and receives
high respects among the local people. On the Tibetan year of sheep, pilgrims
from faraway come here to walk around the lake. It takes more than 10 days to
circle the lake once.
Day 4 Shigatse Breakfast,lunch.

Yamdrok Lake
Introduction:
Yamdrok Lake is a salt lake of low consistency and it
begins to freeze every mid-November and the ice can be as thick as 0.5 meter.
The lake abounds in small scale fishes, Tibetan fish,plateau carps etc, with an
yearly production about 200 to 300 million kilograms. The fish breeding business
has been flourishing and taken a large scale. The fish is not only sold in Lhasa
but also in inland market. Here is also the largest habitat for water birds in
north Tibet. Every winter flocks of birds are flying here from the south. Along
the banks and on the islands there are large numbers of swans, pigeons, yellow
ducks, cormorants and barhead goose. It will cost you 30 minutes to go down the
pass to Yamdrok Yumtso, then you can enjoy the views on the road along the lake.
After driving 60 kilometers until you reach Nankartse County, the lake will
disappear slowly from your eyesight. Follow this road and pass Nankartse County,
you will reach the nearby the Lhagyari Manor about 40 kilometers from there.
Day 5 Tashilhunpo Monastery,Shigatse
fair,Lhokar,back to Lasa. Breakfast,Lunch

Itinerary:
Visit
Tashilhunpo Monastery, after lunch visit the Lhokar - the Tibetan granary and
see the local life, back Lhasa and transfer to hotel.
Tashilhunpo
Monastery Introduction:
The Tashilhunpo Monastery means luck
assembly In Tibetan. It was built by Gendunzhuba, the first Dalai Lama, at the
east hillside of the Nima Mountain west of Xigaze City in 1447. It is the
biggest temple in Xigaze region of Tibet and one of the Tibet’s four great
temples. In addition, it is one of the six most famous temples of Huang Religion
(Huangjiao). It is the place to contain bodies and souls of Panchen Lamas of
past generations.
Lhokar Introduction:
Lhokar, is a
political, economic cultural and religious seminary of Tibet. The area is flat.
The soil is fertile and crops grow abundantly. The fields and pasturelands,
rivers, unique folklores and customs present a simple yet grand natural picture
of the place. The roads here are distributing like a net.
Day 6 Lhasa--Beijing Breakfast

Depart from Lhasa to Beijing by flight or
by train, end tour.
