Itinerary:

1. pick up you from your hotel in the morning, transfer  to Suzhou, Chinese always say, In heaven there is the paradise, and on earth there are Suzhou and Hangzhou.

2. Visit Tiger Hill, Han Shan Temple, Net Master’s Garden, Grand Canal, Ancient City Gate and Suzhou #1 Silk Factory.

3.after tour end, transfer you back to your shanghai's hotel.

 

Han Shan Temple Introduction:

Originally named Miaolipumingta, built in the Liang period (502-557) of the Southern Dynasty. It's one of Suzhou's most charming temples with an unrivaled collection of ancient bells.  The temple used to be one of the ten most famous temples in China. The poem of "A Night Mooring by Maple Bridge" by Zhang Ji, a famous poet of the Tang dynasty, is a very well known and loved poem, its poetic rhyme and bell-tolling sounds have made the Hanshan Temple celebrated at home and abroad.

Net Master’s Garden Introduction:

Originally known as the Fisherman's Retreat, it was laid out under the Southern Song Dynasty, and was renamed the Master-of-Nets garden in the reign of Qianlong under the Qing Dynasty. The outstanding feature of this small but elegant garden is that it combines living quarters with the landscape garden.

Grand Canal Introduction:

The Grand Canal of China is the world's oldest and longest canal, far surpassing the next two grand canals of the world. The building of the canal began in 486 B.C. during the Wu Dynasty. It was extended during the Qi Dynasty, and later by Emperor Yangdi of Sui Dynasty during six years of furious construction from 605-610 AD.

Tiger Hill Introduction:
Tiger Hill lays claims to being the "first scenic spot in the State of Wu". Tiger" simply because it looks like a crouching tiger. Whichever is more credible, the name has been in use for more than 25 centuries. Tiger Hill has been praised as "the most beautiful of all hills in south of the Yangtze River". With the sojourns in the neighborhood of famous men of letters in history and the many stories and anecdotes being circulated about them, Tiger Hill has further been invested with an air of romance and mystery.
